Mauchline Transfer Ware Trinket Box Souvenir de Montmarte w/transfer Sacre Coeur

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian, fern and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This is lovely Transfer Ware hinged rectangular trinket box has a transfer ofSacre Coer on Montmarte in France and is labelled Souvenir de Montmarte.

measures 2 5/8" long or wide, 1 75" deep and it is
7/8"
high.
It is in overall good condition, with some condition problems, such as the the lid does not fully close and there is some discoloration to the left of the left on the transfer, but please look at the pictures to see the overall condition.
